    Ensure that area is clean of dirt and oil then apply ointment directly to problem area 2 x day. 

    You can use Ozone soap to cleanse and dissinfect are and relieve irritation before application. 

    Proven effective for Horses, dogs, pigs, cattle, chicken and even Humans. (does not contain tea tree oil so can be safe for cats aswell but i am not a "catspert- YET! )
